L&M PRISK has been supporting a foreign investor in the chemical industry in the course of localization and market development in Austria. Due to the company’s rapid growth strategy, new project launches, and the advancing ESG regulations at national and EU level, the management expressed a strong need for clarification as to when, in which areas and in which form they (will) have to comply with which ESG standards. They not only, but particularly, feared reputational and liability risks in the course of the purchase of chemical components from emerging market countries, due to transparency problems along the supply chains.

In the course of a comprehensive ESG consulting project, L&M PRISK first carried out a workshop to screen the operations of the entire company and its branches for current and future ESG-relevant areas. L&M PRISK also applied its strategic foresight approach, targeting different scenarios with regard to EU and national legislation, as well as the company’s growth strategies. The workshop resulted in a well-targeted ESG preparation, monitoring and implementation strategy, offering a software-based all-round solution. In this and similar projects, L&M PRISK works closely with its trusted partners, from the fields of law, accounting, IT, and auditing.
