Johannes Leitner is a recognized expert in the fields of political risk management and business strategy with more than 15 years of professional experience. Johannes Leitner is passionate about designing and implementing management solutions that require outstanding expertise and creativity due to the complex nature of the problem that needs to be solved. Typically, these are business strategies that need to be aligned with a specific political context. Having accomplished projects with multinational enterprises in different industries and various locations, Johannes Leitner has always achieved in creating substantial value for his clients.

He has served as an external advisor to the European Commission and is a recognized expert on political risk in Eastern Europe, Turkey and the post-Soviet space. Johannes Leitner frequently leads expert and academic panels at international conferences, including, among others, at Cambridge University. He received his PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and graduated in International Business Studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in Southeast European Studies at the University of Vienna. In addition, he was a visiting scholar at the Stockholm School of Economics. Johannes Leitner has also been interviewed as an expert on political risk by, among others, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
